Check mail.box, AV and sending method

Thanks for the suggestions!

Firstly, a question from a novice: how do I open/check the mail.box(1,2) file?

I *think* there is an anti-virus package, but will have to check. I'll check the AV logs to see if it picked up anything (and also report back on the AV name and version).

I will check and report back on the setup for the user. I *think* they are setup to send through the server and not directly.
